Your account
Leave an archive and delete your account
You can leave a family archive yourself at any time: in the OneLegacy app, in the Mulryan Legacy app, or on the archive’s website. Your account in that archive is deleted at once.
In the app
- Open the app and go to Account.
- Choose Leave this archive.
- Choose what happens to the photos and films you added: they stay in the family’s archive, or they go to the Bin, where they are deleted for good after 30 days.
- Type your password (and the code from your authenticator app, if you use two-step sign-in) and confirm.
On the archive’s website
- Sign in to your family’s archive.
- Open My account and go to Leave this archive.
- Make the same choice for your photos and films, type your password and confirm.
What happens
- Your account in that archive is deleted at once: you can no longer sign in, and you are signed out on every computer, phone and tablet.
- The photos and films you added stay in the archive or go to the Bin, as you chose. Files in the Bin are deleted for good after 30 days.
- The archive’s history of who added or changed what keeps your name, so the family’s record stays complete.
- The people who look after the archive get an email that you have left. They can invite you again later if you wish.
- If you belong to more than one family archive, leave each one separately.
Cannot sign in?
Write to [email protected] from the email address you use for the archive, and tell us which archive. We remove your account for you and confirm by email.
